THE ROLE OF NGO IN PREVENTION OF FASD
The article reveals the concept of "alcohol spectrum disorder" and shows the role of NGOs in the prevention work among the population. This activities is shown using as an example Zaporizhzhya regional public organization "Florence." Analyzed projects of the organization for 2008 - 2014 years, aimed at preventing alcohol spectrum disorder among schoolchildren. Revealed the importance of non-medical orientation of organizations in solving medical problems.

The last five years Mennonite organizations in Zaporizhzhya Region, Ukraine meet annually to share their faith, experiences, achievements and problems. Approximately 10 organizations work in this Region helping all categories of people. Every year one of these organizations host other organizations. This year it was the Mennonite Central Commitee who arranged the meeting in a very nice and cozy place in a hotel “Slava”.
