1.
Work on the project "Volunteers". In May proceeded
volunteer’s activity of students. The action "Birthday"
has been spent, we have congratulated one May birthday person. As
practice has shown, there is a requirement throughout the given
action: volunteers receive constant offers from children and parents
to come next year. Renewal of congratulations since September, 2010
is planned.
The
group of volunteers - 4-year students of a specialty «social work»
(3
persons)
continue to work with a group of young men with special needs. The
work is focused on the development of memory, attention, thinking
etc. We got the feedback from social workers from social work centre
that this is one of the most interesting work for the clients.
Two
volunteers do home visits and work with disable kids, teaching and
organizing their leisure time activities. On May, 19th, 2010 the
volunteer of the "Forence Centre " Nikitenko Alevtina became
the leader of the concert which was a regional competition of young
talents among children of employees of the social work centres. As
children-participants of competition have noted, the holiday was
remembered by it not only performances, but also the fascinating
games organized by the cheerful leader.

The program «Healthy generation». In May has been summed up the
first stage of the program «Healthy generation: FASD». On May, 21st
was organized a meeting with expression of gratitude for
participation in the project, for qualitative work and a biased
attitude to rise healthy generationfor all lecturers "Forence
Centre” was organized a . The project FASD will be continued in
fall.

Work on grants. In May the Center has prepared the project and apply
for a grand for children with special needs.

The program "School". Working out and selection of a
methodical material for work with schoolboys proceeds. Direct
carrying of the project on prevention of violence is planned in
September, 2010.

The program "Kangaroo".Program
has 4 specialists now. This month we have 5 new children. Since
May, experts began to use musical instruments during sessions with
children. In May the Center was visited by the German specialist
Doctor Hans-Diter Dammering. Carrying out of consultations for
parents, tracing of stages of development of children-participants of
the program "Kangaroo", the further training of experts of
the program was the arrival purpose. The trip on the island of
Chortitsa was organized for the children and parents by our staff. |
