1. The
program "Kangaroo"
The program is attended by 22 children. In
November we moved to a new place which we had repaired. On the 9th of November we opened a
more welcoming and comfortable place.
The specialists have retested children using Strassmayer
scale and have diagnosed a positive dynamics of development of each child.
Primary diagnostic was carried out to newly
arrived children.
With the expansion of the area, each room has
its own function (a room for physiotherapy, a room for music classes, studying room,
playing room).
The
main topic of all learning sessions was Christmas event.
A preschool system refused to provide services
to one child because of his speech delayed development. The child went through
semi-rehab program in "Kangaroo". According to the results of the re-test
the child was accepted to the same kindergarten.
The staff and children are actively involved
in the preparation of Christmas party for children. Staff prepares a scenario
and communicates with organizations that can provide Christmas gifts; they also
teach children Christmas carols.
2. The
parent’s club in the social work agencies
In November a lecture with the elements of the
discussion "Fairy Tale and Fairy Tale Therapy" was held for parents
of children with special needs in the social work agency.
After the lecture, the parents tried to become
storytellers themselves and write a collective psychological tale about a woman
who searches for happiness.

expecting babies "Simply a Miracle" (education and training for effective

new grant proposal on work with elderly people.
5. In-service
training of practitioners in social field
Specialists of "Florence center" have prepared and conducted
a workshop for social workers on the prevention of professional burnout. The
event was attended by 18 members of Zaporizhzhya social work centers. At the workshop
in addition to the symptoms and causes of burnout we have discussed how to
prevent it. Participants were asked to express their own symptoms of stress as
well as the ways to overcome it. Summing up the seminar, the social workers
