1. In March, our centre began to work on the
project "FASD”. We have trained lecturers from the number of students
majoring in Social Work, Social Pedagogy, Management ", as well
as the staff members. Developed and prepared handouts for the FASD (leaflets
and CD’s). Total amount of lecturers is 10. 103
hours of lectures were done for the students and teachers of secondary schools
of Chortitsky, Ordzhenikidzevsky and Komunarsky regions of Zaporizhzhye.
2. We continue to work on the program
"School", conducted training sessions for socialization and
preparation for life.
3. This moth the Programme "Kangaroo" has
3 staff members and one volunteer. Systematically used multipurpose necessities
forms of work. The most significant event - a holiday "Puppet
Theatre". By graduating from an online auction were purchased musical
instruments for the study of music therapy. Employees of "Kangaroo"
gave lectures in the territorial centers of the city for education for parents
raising children with special needs.
4. The "Volunteer" program occupies five
areas: working with young disabled people, congratulations on the birth of
children with special needs at home, work in the parent’s clubs, social and
psychological film club "Zebra", support for children with special
needs at home. Was interesting activities model haircuts, which had volunteers
young disable people. Number of volunteers - 30 people.
5. Our Centre has organized the work of foreign
specialists (Prof. O. Driedger and prof. F.Driedger) in Zaporizhzhya National TechnicalUniversity.
Course was given on international social work for students majoring
in Social Work ", held meetings with teachers of the University, discussed
issues of participation in international studies (Ukraine-Canada) on
restorative justice.
