In Zaporizhzhya took place the second unusual project
of the public organization "Florence" for people of retirement age
"To look gorgeous, you do not have to be young and beautiful," - said Coco Chanel. This idea the "Florence Centre" took as the main idea of the project "I am beautiful" for the ladies of golden age.
Healthy lifestyle, care for themselves, a positive outlook on life, and, of course, well-chosen clothes are the keys of woman’s attraction. Therefore, the main objective of the project was to ruin stereotypes and discrimination against old people. And also to help participants to become more confident.
Only for 2.5 months 11 women worked in the project "I am beautiful!" In addition to the learning about how to be properly dressed in old age, makeup and body care in the course we presented such topics positive thinking, relationships with adult children and in-laws, as well as issues of love in old age.
We took the participants to a beauty salon “Estatic Education”. Thanks to the professionals our participants got the consultations how to do the makeup, how to dye hair and they got very good services there that made them look irresistible!
After such changes we organized a photo sessions for each woman. By the end of the project we invited women to a theatre. Participants went through a test how to be properly dressed to the theatre.
To summarize the results of the project we organized a small party for participants, their families and friends in the cafe "Old Rabbit". Cozy atmosphere, warm tea and coffee, helped everyone to get real pleasure from watching the work of the project and a video of the process of transformation, as well as participate in a quiz on the material covered. The most exciting moment of the evening was the presentation of photos “Before and After” the transformation. All the participants with much excitement watch the videos and presentations. Each slide was accompanied by enthusiastic cheers and applauses from the audience. Incredible transformation, drastic changes... there was Not a single person who could say that a woman did not changed dramatically.
"You returned me to life!", - with these words finished her speech one of the participants of the project.
